Mexico. AudioVideo BrandBuilder Corporation, AVBB, made its inaugural participation in the Expo Cine Video y Televisión show as such a company. AVBB is the official representative of the Phabrix brands in England, and Cinedeck in the United States for the entire American continent.
During this show, the company presented Phabrix's line of measuring and testing instruments – from its portable Sx line, and its Rx modular rasterizers, to the new line of hybrid measuring instruments for 4K, 8K, and IP signals.
Among the portable Sx line, there is the SxTAG/TAG-C model which is an entry-level model that can analyze, monitor and generate NTSC and PAL analog signals, as well as SD/HD/3G SDI digital signals. "Phabrix's SxTAG model is ideal for the Latin American market that is in the process of digital transition," said Carlos Noguera, Sales Manager for Latin America.
"In addition, it can not only accept signals by SDI, but also signals by optical fiber and by HDMI through SFP modules. With this varied number of signals that the TAG can process, this instrument is the solution that several field and studio engineers need to verify that the signals they receive are adequate to strict video and audio standards."
Another complete line of instruments that can be used by television stations in Mexico is the Rx line of rasterizers. These are modular systems of compact sizes that can be mounted in a rack or on a desk and that in addition to the basic functions of a measuring instrument, can measure the eye and jitter standard, as well as analyze and generate Dolby audio signals.
In the area of equipment for the reproduction and recording of material and content, AVBB presented the ZX server of the Cinedeck brand. This server is highly intelligent and advanced and allows the user to record or convert content to different CODEC formats, without complicated conversion or recording. In addition, Cinedeck's ZX server facilitates editing based on the insertion of content in a fast and simple way without having to go through the "rendering" phase and therefore saving time and costs.
"Our first participation in this important fair in Mexico as an AVBB company has been very productive and with positive results. We have been able to identify more clearly the needs of the Mexican market, as well as we have been able to establish contacts with potential distributors who represent us here in Mexico," added Carlos Noguera.
For his part, Christian Young, Marketing Director of AVBB, stressed that "we have ambitious expansion plans in Latin America. AudioVideo BrandBuilder Corporation will be a recognized company in the broadcast market in Latin America and where we will position the products we represent – Phabrix and Cinedeck – as complete measurement and editing tools at moderate costs. Our next participation will be at the SET Expo fair in the city of Sao Paulo in Brazil, stand #165".
