Latin America. Elemental is a company that has positioned itself strongly in the Latin American market, therefore, the team that serves the region has been growing to be able to assume the new challenges.
Sergio Da Silva, in charge of the markets of the south of the continent in Elemental, explained to TVyVideo+Radio that the team that serves the region is made up of Rodrigo Godoi, who attends Mexico and Central America, accompanied by the engineer Viviana Sierra, and Sergio attends the South of the continent from Brazil with the support of engineer Andrés Godoi.
"In Brazil we are forming a team that will help us provide technical support to our customers from São Paulo. Although it is small, the Elemental team that serves the region is quite efficient because we work hand in hand with our partners in each country, whom we train and give them all the tools to advise the client," he said.
Some of the partners are Viditec in Argentina, Mediastream in Chile, AVCOM in Colombia and Venezuela, AD-Digital in Brazil, Magnum in Mexico, among other companies. All are highly qualified to install, sell and support Elemental equipment and systems.
On the presence of their technology in the channels of the region, he stressed that they have achieved a high penetration in cases such as Chile, where they are already present in all the large channels of the country; in Brazil with Globo, Globosat and are working on a very ambitious project for the transmission of the Olympic Games; in Mexico they are with TV Azteca and Televisa and there is an important presence in Colombia.
Elemental is also preparing for NAB. The company is focused on solutions that seek to add value, both in multiscreen and end-to-end solutions for satellite and cable. "Unification, that is the key word of our new solutions, which will allow us to support any screen and any distribution mechanism. In addition, we are looking to add greater value to 4K," concluded Sergio da Silva.
