Brazil. Arri announced the opening of its new subsidiary in São Paulo, Brazil, in March 2016. Located in the downtown area, on Avenida Ibirapuera in Moema, São Paulo, this subsidiary will offer camera service and maintenance, technical support and software updates as well as training and workshops for cameras and Pro Camera Arri Accessories.
Wilson Zeferino, Arri's Sales Director for Latin America, said: "For Arri, the Latin American market is growing. Now repairs can be carried out in São Paulo by technicians trained by ARRI without the need to send the equipment abroad. This new facility keeps costs low and offers a quick solution to any camera operating issues that may arise, not only for customers in Brazil but also in neighboring countries.
