Latin America. Until May 15, the call to participate in the second edition of the RFI Report award in Spanish is open, which is organized by Radio France International and aimed at journalism students under 30 years of age currently in training in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Radio France International invites the different educational centers to present a candidate who, between March 1 and May 15, 2016, must submit by email ([email protected]) a radio report on a current issue, as well as the synopsis of a report project to be carried out in Paris.
A jury composed of RFI journalists will define the best contribution. The name of the winner will be announced on May 25, 2016, in the broadcast "Paris America" of the RFI Newsroom in Spanish, within the framework of the Latin America and the Caribbean Week in France.
The winner will do a four-week internship at RFI's Spanish newsroom in Paris, with all expenses paid during which they will have the opportunity to make the report from the synopsis presented.
Radio France International has more than 410 partner radios in Latin America, the United States and Canada, which partially take up the programs of RFI's Spanish-language newsroom. In addition, the RFI site in Spanish receives visits from Spanish speakers from all over the world and in particular from people from Argentina, Colombia, Spain and Mexico.
