International. Blackmagic Design highlighted a number of Oscar-nominated films that were created using the cameras of Blackmagic, DaVinci Resolve and Fusion.
The Oscar nominations are a highly regarded recognition in the film industry, and Blackmagic is honored to play a role in the production of these stunning cinematic works.
2016 Oscar-nominated films include:
- "Amy," graduated with DaVinci Resolve Studio by colorist Paul Ensby of Company 3 de Deluxe;
- "Cartel Land," graduated with DaVinci Resolve Studio by colorist Seth Ricart of RCO;
- "Mad Max: Fury Road", selected scenes shot with Blackmagic Cinema Cameras by cinematographer John Seale;
- "The Martian", the stereo converted with Fusion Studio by Senior Supervisor of Stereo Richard Baker of Prime Focus World, and graduated with DaVinci Resolve Studio by colorist Stephen Nakamura of Company 3 de Deluxe;
- "Mustang", graduated with DaVinci Resolve Studio by colorist Yov Moor;
- "Spotlight," graduated with DaVinci Resolve Studio by colorist Tom Poole of Company 3 de Deluxe;
- "What Happened Miss Simone?", graduated with DaVinci Resolve Studio by colorist Yohance Brown of Radical Media's Outpost Digital.
