Brazil. With the presence of leading manufacturers and distributors, a new version of SET Expo, the Brazilian fair for the broadcast and new media industry, will be held in Sao Paulo from August 23 to 27.
This year, in its 27th edition, SET Expo will have 21,000 square meters of exhibition area in the Red Pavilion of the Expo Center North, opening its doors on August 25. This area will be divided into pavilions with special themes, such as TV, radio, startups and international delegations with the participation of British and Scandinavians.
In addition, it will have a space dedicated to the winners of the SETup Challenge, a contest through which SET made a public call to choose ten companies that will be able to exhibit their solutions during the three days of the show. The third version of the Challenge, which was open until July 21, will reward the three companies best qualified by those attending the fair.
SET Expo will also have this year various areas such as telecommunications, internet, big data, mobile devices, smartphones and tablets. The entire chain - from production to delivery - will be present at the fair, with innovative solutions and business models.
From August 23 to 27, the academic programming of the fair will be held, with talks, conferences and round tables will be held in simultaneous auditoriums during five days of intense debate on the present and future of broadcasting, telecommunications and emerging media. The moderators and speakers of recognized prestige, national and international, will present success stories and share knowledge and experiences.
As part of the academic programming, the second Latin American Forum of Radio and Television Business will be held, which will take place on August 25 and 26 and which offers its attendees an in-depth discussion and exchange of ideas between managers, specialists and professionals from all over Latin America.
SET Show 2015 will host the ISDB-T International Forum, which will bring together manufacturers, developers, broadcasters around digital television, taking advantage of the framework of the fair in which many exhibitors will present news about it.
And this year the award will also be given to companies and / or individuals for outstanding contributions to the industry through nomination and voting according to established criteria, including having a presence in Brazil.
