"Our customers, partners and the industry as a whole need leaders to help them transform the way video is distributed, monetized and consumed, while providing a model for the network architecture of the future. Ericsson Mediaroom is one of the largest middleware providers in the world, and its validation ensures the interoperability of Imagine Communications' core technologies, expanding our presence in the global IPTV market," said Charlie Vogt, CEO of Imagine Communications.
SeleniumNext and Selenium MCP are imagine Communications' latest products to be approved by Ericsson Mediaroom, Imagine's SeleniumNext high-density adaptive bit rate (ABR) transcoding technology offers up to ten times more density and energy savings than other competing solutions, replacing a complete video processing headend on a single platform.
