Argentina. The UFC, the leading Mixed Martial Arts organization, and Uruguay's Canal 20 announced a deal for national television. During this year, they will broadcast 40 episodes of UFC Ahora, with the best of the historical content of the UFC, three live events and the second season of The Ultimate Fighter Latin America, the reality show in which 16 Latino fighters will participate in search of fulfilling their dream and getting a contract with UFC.
Thanks to this agreement, Uruguayans will be able to enjoy the 12 chapters of the reality that in the United States has more than 20 uninterrupted seasons, in addition to a special selection of the most remembered fights in the history of the UFC. Through Channel 20, the audience will be able to watch live three events of the most important MMA organization in the world.
Jaime Pollack, Senior Vice President of Global Content and General Manager of Latin America at UFC, explained: "We are very happy to be coming back to Uruguay, this time, through Canal 20. We believe the UFC fan base in Uruguay will continue to grow and expand, and we look forward to seeing the results."
