Colombia. Vive Digital is the technology plan of the Colombian government that seeks for the country to make a technological leap through the massification of the internet and the development of the national digital ecosystem, installing rooms with computers throughout the country, especially in areas where access to this technology is difficult.
For the new stage of the plan, the Ministry of ICT, the entity in charge of the program, added to the new 320 Vive Digital points a digital content production room, a complete study that is supported by Newtek's Tricaster system.
José Enrique Rojano, manager of the company AV Tech Ltda, distributor in charge of providing the 320 Tricaster reference 40 version two, told TV and VIDEO that the studios will be equipped with all the necessary equipment to produce video, including video and photo cameras, computer with editing programs, audio console, microphones, headphones, kit of lights, monitors, wiring and digital recorder.
The new stage of the Vive Digital plan began to be designed in 2014 and the physical and electrical adaptations are currently being completed in each of the sites, in many cases schools and colleges, to begin with the integration of all the systems, including the studies.
AV Tech Ltda will begin from March the training on the Tricaster to the people who will be in charge of each of the points. In addition, each studio will have the support of Newtek in training and online updates of the Tricaster.
Finally, José Enrique Rojano stressed that Colombia is a pioneer country in implementing the Tricaster in favor of education, the social impact that these points will have and the benefit they will bring to the industry, because they will encourage the creativity of children, who will be the future professionals, in addition to knowing the realities and cultures of each of the five regions of Colombia where the equipment will be installed.
