Argentina. Internet, television and radio, in their order, are the most consumed media in Argentina according to the number of daily hours spent consuming them. This is shown by the latest study on the subject carried out by the company OH! Panel.
According to the authors of the study, it is striking that for the first time the internet is located in a higher position than television, having the first a little more than 7.20 hours a day while the second reaches 3.79 hours. Radio, in third place, is at 3.30 hours each day.
Another of the sections of the study, highlights that those consulted still prefer to watch television in a traditional way instead of using the new pay TV services on demand and on mobile devices such as smart TVs, tablets or smartphones.
Gonzalo Peña, director of OH! Panel, indicated that "there is an upward trend that indicates that the viewer prefers to watch his program without the inclusion of non-traditional advertising since he feels a permanent invasion of products that are involved in the original story."
These words refer to another point of the study that indicates that 60% of those consulted, a total of 856 people, would like the sale of products to be carried out outside the content they are watching. And on the contents, he argues that in Argentina intelligent humor, fiction and deep stories are preferred, when it comes to television.
