Colombia. Five Colombian companies, specialized in the production and dissemination of educational and cultural content, join strengths to offer the television industry their proposal of services in interactive education, creation and commercialization of mega events, design and audiovisual production and even, dissemination of specialized content.
These are the BASSA Group, Programming Television, AITV, Main Event Productions and ZOOM Channel, who under the service cluster model have consolidated an offer in partnership that puts at the service of the country and the Latin American region, the provision of services throughout the design value chain, production and dissemination of educational and cultural content.
The Business Alliance consolidated in the cluster of services that involves technology, media, universities and professionals from different disciplines linked to the partner companies, who bet on working for the promotion and strengthening of education, science, culture and pedagogy, in all corners of the national territory.
Germán Alfonso Pérez, Manager of the National University Channel ZOOM is the one who leads this initiative. he said that the formation of the cluster is the result of that positioning they have had nationally and internationally, since at present "we are part of the Ibero-American Educational Television Association that brings together more than 160 institutions throughout Ibero-America where more than eleven science channels are combined, technology, culture and research".
Given the importance of this new communication project for the country, important media such as Revista Semana, El Espectador and even the Círculo de Periodistas de Bogotá-CPB-, joined around the business cluster to support the efforts and contribute to its implementation.
On the other hand, cable operators from Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic, among others, were involved in this project and formalized their purpose of transmitting the programming of the ZOOM Channel to their countries.
