Colombia The National Television Authority, ANTV, extended until September 23 the deadline for non-profit television operators and ethnic groups to participate in the call for incentives for the co-financing of audiovisual projects.
$1,459 million will be awarded for the promotion of television content that addresses topics related to artistic manifestations, material and intangible heritage, the preservation of memory, the relationship of communities with their territory, science, cultural diversity, identity and youth cultures.
The call, which has the support of the Ministry of Culture, includes 41 stimuli in non-fiction and documentary categories and will reward two productions already made by ethnic communities. Categories of the call:
Non-fiction
1. Production of non-fiction television for operators of the local non-profit free-to-air television service – university students. Minimum duration of 25 minutes and maximum of 52 minutes. A stimulus for $35,000,000.
2. Production of non-fiction television for operators of the local non-profit free-to-air television service. Minimum duration of 25 minutes and maximum of 52 minutes. Five stimuli for $35,000,000 each.
3. Non-fiction television production for operators of the non-profit closed television service. Minimum duration of 25 minutes and maximum of 52 minutes. Thirty stimuli for $35,000,000 each.
Ethnic groups
1. Production of unitary documentaries of ethnic television. Minimum duration of 25 minutes. Five stimuli for $35,000,000 each.
2. Two awards for the best television productions made by ethnic groups. Minimum duration of 15 minutes and maximum of 52 minutes. $12,000,000 will be given to each.
