International. The North American company Elemental Technologies presented its latest developments in platforms for the monetization of video in multiscreen distribution, as well as cloud-based solutions.
According to the company, its new products are aimed at TV operators, content programmers, production studios and sports announcers, who effectively deliver high-quality linear and on-demand multi-screen video to end users on any device.
The company's unified architecture software offers the ability to implement live and on-demand on-premise, cloud-based video processing or hybrid cloud ground deployments.
In that sense, Elemental has its Server and Live products that maintain encoding features to ensure that the output of the same high-quality video is available on-premises and transcoding resources based on the secure cloud.
Another of the systems that Elemental included in its new portfolio is an untethered live video workflow, based on the cloud and working together with LiveU, the company of video broadcast solutions on the signal of cell phones.
And to be in line with the latest trends in the broadcast industry, the company presented its server with 4K processing, which has HEVC/H.265 encoding and UltraViolet content creation, with video streaming to a certain variety of users and devices.
