Chile. Annually, within the framework of NAB, Sony recognizes the best distributor in Latin America. This year, the honoree went to the Chilean company Videocorp and its broadcast division.
According to francisco Cordero, videocorp's professional broadcast and video business manager, this was a recognition due to the company's good year with the launch of Sony's new products.
"In Chile we are on the verge of the publication of the digital television law and we are accompanying the channels in that process, not only as technology providers, but also in what are the best options for the company. The award rightly recognises the supplier's relationship with its customers."
He added that in recent years, Videocorp has been concerned with professionalizing all its business areas, to not only dedicate itself to the sale of equipment but also to offer an after-sales service, with qualified personnel that allows customers to have an accompaniment in their projects, in addition to having technical service.
And it is that the broadcast division of Videocorp is one of the most important among all its areas of work, because it was precisely with this one that the company began 30 years ago, much of which has been Sony's representative for Chile.
