Mexico. Expo Guadalajara will be the stage that will host the third version of Tvmorfosis, on November 27 and 28, an international forum on television that will feature conferences by leading professionals from Mexico, Spain, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, among other countries.
Under the slogan Convergence: scenario for an interactive television, for two days 33 Ibero-American researchers, producers and television producers will meet around 10 topics of discussion.
The Open Television Operator of the University of Guadalajara, organizer of the forum, seeks with this space that the public can understand the new concepts of television, such as convergent television, without neglecting the discussion on relations between media powers, information and receivers. In the same way, a talk will be addressed on the role of public and university television stations in the face of digital activism.
As a result of this forum, each of the 10 panels will become a television program, which will be broadcast by the signals of the Operadora TV Abierta in Guadalajara (Channel 44) and Los Angeles, California (Channel 31.2), as well as other international allies, among which is the Zoom channel of Colombia.
Within the framework of the event, the book TVmorfosis: Open television towards the network society will be presented, a compendium of the presentations of the 2011 event. For more information about the event and to register for the conferences, click here.
