Venezuela. The company specialized in consulting and training for the television industry, Mediax, is looking to grow in the Latin American market, for which it has invested about US $ 500,000 in the last two years.
In conversation with TV Y VIDEO, the president of Mediax, Eduardo Caballero Ardila, explained that its consulting service is focused on making companies more efficient through direct collaboration with senior management on internal processes and personnel management.
"Many channels gain weight in staff without realizing it because of the number of people who stay after each production. We also seek to evaluate different aspects, so our experts enter to evaluate management issues and each year deliver a report that allows them to be much more efficient, "he said.
Another important segment in Mediax's work is training. In this segment they offer short courses and short workshops of 20 or 40 hours, and training programs of a year and a half in which students can choose between editing or scripting.
According to Eduardo Caballero Ardila, "training is a territory that has been neglected by many channels and audiovisual producers. Before, with the endorsement of technology, the driver of the car acted as a cameraman and later became a director, now it is a little more complex, training and training is required universally. "
In this segment they are looking for business opportunities in Colombia and are about to open the first training center in Miami, without losing sight of other markets in Latin America.
In addition, in September they will perform in Venezuela Audio + visual, aimed at students of social communication of Venezuelan universities, seeking to focus them on the latest realities of the audiovisual industry, with a two-day agenda at the Andrés Bello Catholic University.
