United States. The renowned news portal Huffington Post joined the trend of offering content on different platforms, with the launch of a new television channel with live streaming over the Internet, called HuffPost Live.
This project of the information company will have 12 hours of daily programming, in which news, interview and analysis spaces will stand out. Arianna Huffington, creator and director of the medium, explained that the initiative will be "a reproduction network that will use HuffPost articles as its script in real time."
In addition to the own content produced by the channel, the proposal also bets on integrating viewers by allowing them to send their recorded interventions on the topics of opinion of the moment and participate live through video conferences.
"With HuffPost Live, viewers are invited to be part of a different form of conversation, whoever they are and wherever they are."
This project, available since August 13, is a sample of the path that video transmissions are taking, in which the Internet is an increasingly used tool and interaction has become indispensable.
