A reflection of the above is the announcement of the cell phone manufacturer, Nokia, which confirmed the launch of a new service for users of their smart devices: Nokia TV.
Nokia TV will start as a pilot project in the company's parent country, Finland, but it is expected that if it obtains positive results it will expand to other regions of the world.
The service basically consists of offering a catalog of television content that users can access from their smartphones, punctually the Nokia Lumia series with Windows Mobile, via streaming for free.
"With Nokia TV we are making it easier for people to find and watch TV, while supporting existing producers and Internet TV models," Nokia TV and video director Mika Suomela said in official statements.
