Argentina. The TV show Carburando, dedicated to covering motorsport, purchased 14 cameras Grass Valley high-definition LDK 8000 Elite with triaxial broadcast WorldCam HD, which are used in the out-of-studio transmission truck and form a central part of a program project to migrate to HD.
To choose the type of cameras, the producers of the program took into consideration the climatic conditions in which they must work, because part of the productions are in the heat of summer and cold mountain places.
"We wanted to use triax connectivity, as it is rugged and reliable, and we have a lot invested in triaxial cable. This allows us to have robust and stable cable lines, which we need for the motor circuits, without any risk to the quality of the signal," said Pablo Kotodij, Technical Director of Carburando.
Grass Valley was able to meet a demanding schedule, with all 14 cameras delivered to Buenos Aires within 30 days of the order. The new HD equipped truck has been on the road since February.
Jeff Rosica, executive vice president of Grass Valley, said, "Sports production companies standardized Grass Valley cameras as they offer the functionality, quality and operational simplicity that customers need when spending all their working time under pressure."
