Latin America. With the acquisition made by the Brazilian media group Radio Globo of the Radio-Assist content management system, the company Netia decided to include Latin America in its expansion plan, strengthening its market in new sectors.
This was stated by Christophe Carniel, CEO and president of the company, who explained that 2011 meant for Netia a great expansion, both in new countries and in new market sectors.
"Latin America and Asia were two very important regions for our company last year. We managed to include in our client list not only radio and television, but also media and management archives across a variety of facility types," he said.
He added that among the new clients are RadioGlobo of Brazil, the archives of Ethiopia National; MediaCorp of Singapore; Radio Qatar in the Middle East, and Cameroon CRTV.
"As we had anticipated, the increase in executive and engineering positions in 2010, and in our worldwide sales force, paid off in 2011 with success in NETIA software deployments across a wider geographic area and a wider range of customers and applications," concluded Christophe Carniel.
