Colombia. By Presidential Decree 601 of April 6, 2015, the lawyer Beatriz Cárdenas Casas, who was in charge since February 20, was appointed as Commissioner of the Communications Regulation Commission (CRC).
With the appointment of Beatriz Cárdenas Casas, the number of commissioners of the Entity is completed, along with Isabel Cristiana Fajardo and Juan Manuel Wilches, who is the current Executive Director of the CRC.
Beatriz Cárdenas Casas is a lawyer from the Sergio Arboleda University, with a specialization in Business Administration and MBA from the same University and before arriving at the CRC she was the Secretary General of the Ministry of Information Technologies.
She has worked in the utility sector, initially as an advisor in the tariff area of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (now CRC); in the area of User Protection of the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC); consultant at Servicios Públicos Capital Web Ltda; Manager of the Jorbet Solo Agua Water Processing Plant; Legal Advisor of the Executive Unit of Public Services of the Capital District, Management Advisor of the same Unit and later Head of the Legal Advisory Office.
He also served as Head of the Legal Advisory Office of the Drinking Water and Basic Sanitation Regulatory Commission (CRA).
