In order to provide the best experience in image and sound quality in open signal digital channels, RCA manufactured the ATSC HD decoder model DKS2150.
This set-top box is capable of receiving high definition signals and clear QAM signals to watch different TV shows. It can also transmit digital signals via conventional analogue television via its CH3/CH4 output channel.
It is also compatible with ATSC A/53 standards (MEPG-2 and MEPG-4) and has a high quality composite video and L/R audio output. This set-top box provides automatic time and zone adjustment, on-screen menu in English and Spanish, HDMI output and current programming information.
Other additional functions are the automatic channel scanning, the search of channels by numeric keypad, the signal strength on the screen, the volume and silence functions, the auto off timer and LED status.
