The Production Stream content acquisition package facilitates the ability to record programming in the field with up to seven cameras, and enables live streaming over Ethernet, Wi-Fi and cellular networks, ensuring connectivity from virtually anywhere.
This equipment is designed to offer video with real transmission quality in 1080p resolutions with up to 16 channels of professional audio, for high-end production in a wide range of applications. All camera inputs are purchased simultaneously and can be delivered to service providers as individual SDI feeds or a single transmission.
The system is based on Sony's PTZ cameras and Mobile Viewpoint (MVP) encoding and decoding technology, enabling H.265 CBR and VBR compression. IP-based camera control is enabled through a browser-based interface, which can be accessed locally or remotely.
Switching is done using a compact Simplylive ViBox8-Mini production system, which supports six SDI inputs and two SDI outputs. Production Stream also includes a master sync generator and POE network switch to provide connectivity to PTZ cameras, external graphics solutions, and laptops.
