Latin America. MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems introduces updates to its VersaBrix Series (VB), its robust modular fiber-optic transport platform used by broadcasters and live production professionals around the world.
Designed for field installations, flypacks, and permanent installations, the VersaBrix Series easily manages 12G/3G/HD-SDI to HDMI 2.0, analog/digital audio, Ethernet (1/10GbE), intercom, tally, genlock, timecode, and more (all uncompressed and with near-zero latency) impressively over a single fiber strand. From extending PTZ and POV cameras to sending massive signals via a truck or enclosure over fiber, VersaBrix offers maximum reliability and flexibility.
New to the series is a sleek, all-white chassis option for all four VersaBrix formats, available in two-, four-, six- and ten-slot versions. These sleek, modern housings, on display at booth 11.C12, are ideal for studio installations or anywhere equipment is visible on camera.
With its compact 1RU design and 19 cm (71/4 in) deep chassis, VersaBrix is ideal for smaller environments such as mobile units and flypacks. It also saves time in temporary installations where copper cabling is not viable, making deployment easier without sacrificing performance.
