MADRID, 16 May. (Portaltic/EP) -
The accelerator Mola.com and the investment fund Cabiedes & Partners have invested a total of 200,000 euros in the platform for buying and selling services online Geniuzz. It is a platform that contributes to the generation of "small jobs" that many citizens are able to offer and many others want to hire.
With an unemployment rate that stands at 27.16 percent, the number of people working from home offering micro-services has increased exponentially (94 percent) during the last year, according to the platform for buying and selling low-cost digital services, Geniuzz. The growing trend is such that investment funds such as Cabiedes & Partners and the Mola.com accelerator have invested in Geniuzz.
This investment will improve its usability and promote the platform in Spain and Latin America and thus contribute to the generation of small jobs that many citizens are able to offer and many others want to hire.
This platform was founded in 2011 by Pepe Cabestany, Gregorio Martín-Montalvo and Mola. Geniuzz is currently the largest platform in Spain and Latin America for the sale of small services over the Internet. Under the leadership of its CEO, Cabestany, Geniuzz has more than 20,000 registered users and 15,000 gigs (works) sold to date.
Almost any digital service has a place in Geniuzz. From services to increase in 10,000 friends a Facebook Fanpage for 100 euros, develop an Android application for 200 euros, record advertising spots for 5 euros, translate a document into English-Spanish for 5 euros to clean university notes in Word and Excel in Spanish, Catalan and English for only 10 euros.
If the user does not find what he is looking for, he can always make his request in the "Wall of desires" of Geniuzz in order for someone to provide the service. "Thanks to our online reputation system you can see the comments and the degree of satisfaction of previous buyers with the services received. This allows an increase in confidence when buying the services through the platform, which does not pay the work to the seller until he has completed the order, "says Cabestany.
