Colombia. The Zoom television channel, which serves 42 universities in the country, reported on the change of its signal to the NSS 806 satellite, in C-band, through which it seeks to benefit the stability of its signal even in adverse weather conditions and improve the audio and video quality it offers to its viewers.
Due to this change, the operators of the subscription television service will have to make the changes in the satellite parameters, so as not to be affected by the signal blackout on the Hispasat satellite in the KU band.
In addition to the change in its satellite position, the Zoom Channel moved its programming office to the city of Bogotá since the beginning of June, with the aim of centralizing its operation in this city and thus strengthening the service it currently provides to its 42 affiliated higher education institutions.
The transfer operation from the current satellite to NSS 806 is planned so that it does not affect the service to viewers, however, in case of deficiencies with the service, the followers of the Channel can consult additional information on our website www.zoomcanal.com.co, in the email [email protected] or by calling the PBX 57 + 1 + 805 28 66 in the city of Bogotá or the cell phone 321 201 2225.
