International. This year, Sony will return to IBC to inspire and engage broadcasters, demonstrating its continued expertise, influence and demonstration by partnering with customers to transform the media industry.
Continuing its "Beyond Definition" legacy and vision, Sony will highlight how it supports organizations across the broadcast industry to imagine their focus on media production. In particular, Sony will explore how innovations in the fields of imaging, IP technology and workflows enable the emergence of new forms of audience engagement with media creators and their content.
The company will be joined by colleagues to unveil products, systems and solutions and discuss new technology standards that support new ways of working for media organizations. It will present success stories of customers who have successfully introduced new ways of working, and for the first time will present to the European public its new HDC-4800 system camera.
The key focus will be on how Sony works alongside its partners and competitors to deliver solutions that adapt to "real world" practices in the modern broadcast industry, ensuring the implementation of technological innovations in the context of interoperability, legacy values and reliable operating periods.
