Blackmagic Design announced the availability of an update for the ATEM mixer line that provides new functions in the transmitted images through the multiple display output and, on the other hand, provides the possibility of exchanging the position of the windows corresponding to the main signal and the advances. Version 6.9 can now be downloaded for free from the Blackmagic Design website.
This update offers new features for all ATEM Production Studio 4K and ATEM 2 M/E Broadcast Studio 4K models that allow users to change the layout of windows in multi-view mode, depending on the particular needs of a given live production. On the other hand, it is possible to select the vúmetros corresponding to each incoming signal that you want to display and modify their transparency, in order to give them greater brightness or decrease their intensity on the image. You can also exchange the position of the windows that show the main signal and the advances, as well as activate or deactivate the indicators of the security area.
The new version also allows you to add rotating visual effects to the ATEM 2 M/E Broadcast Studio 4K model. This gives users who make live productions an unprecedented number of options with exceptional quality, at a maximum resolution of 2160p60.
