NAB. Inovonics, developer of solutions for broadcast in audio and video, announced during NAB Show -which took place from April 18 to 21 in Las Vegas- several innovative solutions for the market, mainly focused on remote equipment control.
"We have equipment for RDS, monitoring and processing. At the show we have five new products that we are launching: we have a new AM monitor, the 525N, which has network access, then benefits broadcasters to access the equipment remotely. In fact, all our new products have a new network access incorporated," said Gary Luhrman, Sales and Marketing Manager at Inovonics.
He stated about remote equipment control. "Although you don't require a person on site, by controlling the equipment remotely, you can know the status of the equipment so that you need to send a technician to fix something. On the subject of digitization, we have a processor to align the FM with HD – which is a signal alignment problem; we also have equipment for HD monitoring, which gives the possibility to do HD radio monitoring remotely."
On the company's market potential in Latin America, Luhrman said: "I am very positive about our company's progress in the Latin American market. In Mexico, new FM stations are opening and we see a promising future in several countries in the area."
