Latin America. Rosco Laboratories announced the introduction of the LitePad HO90 and LitePad Axiom 90, the evolution of Rosco's illuminated edge LED light sources, which now offer high CRI (90+) output for fill or accent lighting.
Rosco's LitePad was one of the first LED solutions for image capture professionals, and since 2006 it has artistically illuminated stages for TV shows, film productions and photo shoots.
With a thickness of just 8mm, the LitePad HO90 can fit in places where conventional light sources wouldn't enter. The LitePad HO90 produces balanced daylight (5,300 K), has high CRI emitters (90+) and emits a soft and flattering light pleasing to the eye. Available in six standard sizes, the LitePad HO90 has LEDs on all four sides of the perimeter for maximum brightness, while its recessed connector offers a solid connection directly to the LitePad itself. The LitePad HO90 is the solution to illuminate vehicle interiors at night, bringing a glow to scenarios or props, or to any situation that requires extra lighting, but without space for a traditional device.
The LitePad Axiom 90 offers the same light output as the HO90, smooth and flattering, with a color temperature of 5,300 K and high CRI (90+), but available inside a metal housing designed not only to protect the light source, but to offer a variety of quick and simple mounting solutions. The back of the case has a universal mounting system that allows the LitePad Axiom 90 to be attached to lamp holders or other types of fastening materials.
Without the stand, the LitePad Axiom 90 is light enough to be installed with Velcro, magnets, rubber rings or zippers wherever a soft and attractive light source is required. The housing also includes a gel slot, to attach a color or diffusion filter from Rosco. The device's slim profile, low temperature, low power consumption and exceptional color result make the LitePad Axiom 90 the ideal soft LED light choice for image capture professionals around the world.
