Argentina. With technologies based on the 4K format as protagonists, Sony and its distributor in Argentina, Viditec, will be at Caper 2015. Another of the central points is the camera set, which will have professional lighting and scenery, especially for the event.
Daniel Testani, Head of Broadcast Marketing at Viditec SA, said: "Sony's highlight at the 24th caper show is the complete line of 4K products for the entire workflow, from capture to recording and broadcasting.
The most important novelty is the new 4k HDC 4300 studio camera, the first 4K system camera in the world to incorporate three 2/3" 4K image sensors that is especially oriented to sports production and TV shows. Its (2/3") sensor is faster and makes it easier for the cameraman to get excellent live focus. It is compatible with all accessories of the HDC family especially with the 1500 and 2500.
Other novelties that the visitor will be able to see on the set is the PXW -FS7 camcorder. This camera of the XDCAM family, 4K, ultra portable, with Super35 CMOS sensor, has the possibility to record in 4K and Full HD in super slow motion. It is an ideal equipment for creators of documentaries, music videos and online content, and corporate filmmakers looking for high quality images and video, it also has excellent performance in areas with low lighting.
A new equipment is the historical content digitization system, PWS-100 TD1, which allows to digitize and archive in ODA or another system, all the historical material with an efficient management: video coding, tape error checking, file quality control and storage control included.
Another featured product is the 4k Video Server and super slow motion PWS 4400. This server is suitable for 4K and HD production, it can be configured for a maximum of four recording channels. The drive provides 2TB of internal storage as standard (there is an option to grow up to 8TB), offering about 5 hours of 4K storage at 50p/59.94p 600Mbps in the powerful XAVC video format. In a 4K workflow, the drive generates a 4K XAVC file that can be easily used in non-linear editing systems (NLE).
These are just some novelties of the extensive list of products that Sony will have in Argentina.
