Brazil. Christie has teamed up with partners Seal Telecom and Leyard to showcase their advanced visual solutions for broadcast applications at set Expo in São Paulo.
Visitors to the Seal Telecom booth can see a video wall solution with a 2x2 configuration of the super narrow bezel, high-definition Christie FHD551-XG LCD panels that provide an impressive 3.3 square meter digital canvas seamlessly and with a high pixel density and LED backlight. This video wall is being managed by the open source content management platform Christie Phoenix that offers 24/7 monitoring and management and sharing of networked content.
Christie's technology is also present at the Leyard stand with a Spyder X20 image processor creating stunning visual effects. The Spyder X20 is a hardware-based video processor combined with the flexibility of a universal switching array. Its integrated monitoring source allows simultaneous full frame rate monitoring in real time of all inputs.
Christie's solutions are also being used in the convention center's main auditorium. The room is equipped with three units of the Christie DHD800 projectors of 1DLP technology that are managed by the Spyder X20 and by the Pandoras Box coolux event control system. The award-winning Pandoras Box media server is known for its real-time 3D composition and editing. This 4K-capable server offers two and four 3G HD/SDI outputs and synchronization to external audio and video sources for over-the-air pre- and post-production.
