Sennheiser's AVX system was designed to deliver clear and flawless video audio. It has a fully self-configurable digital transmission, which allows it to be ready in a matter of seconds from its ignition because it automatically finds an interference-free channel to operate and instantly optimizes the audio levels to match the sound source and the sensitivity of the camera's audio input. The compact receiver connects directly to the XLR jack of the video camera; it is lightweight and can be rotated to make room for other devices mounted on it.
The AVX system, which has been available since May 2015, comes in three presentations: the AVX-Combo SET, the AVX-835 SET, and the AVX-ME2 SET. The AVX-Combo includes pocket or handheld transmitters and accessories, providing incredible felxibility at the time of recording. It is ideal for filming from professional documentaries and street interviews to corporate videos adjusting to the needs of the client.
The AVX-835 features a robust handheld transmitter which makes it ideal for recording interviews on the street; and the AVX-ME2 features a pocket transmitter and Lavalier microphone which gives the freedom to conduct hands-free interviews and make documentaries with spectacular broadcast sound.
The AVX system can also include accessories for easy operation with digital SLR cameras (DLSRs).
