International. Blackmagic Design announced the immediate availability of the new version 3.2 of the program for Teranex Express processors. This update offers the possibility of performing 1089 different types of conversions in real time to obtain content in SD, HD and UHD format.
Also, thanks to the 12G SDI technology, users will have a tool to process different definitions up to a maximum resolution of 2160p60.
After installing it, the user will have at his disposal 862 types of additional conversions that include the possibility of processing new formats and frame rates, in addition to detecting and eliminating the frames inserted when using the 3:2 system to transfer a movie in cinematic support to video. The images are processed with the legendary quality of Teranex, which allows to obtain the degree of sharpness demanded by the main studios and television channels.
Also, this model is the solution to bridge the gap between HD and UHD resolutions, since it has 12G SDI technology that allows you to switch between formats in SD, HD, 3G and 6G automatically according to the selected conversion. In this way, it is possible to instantly obtain UHD content from sources in 720p or 1080p.
The Teranex Express device is the product for broadcasters interested in incorporating UHD projects with high frame rate and who need to compensate for discrepancies in transfer speed.
The adjustment of the images and the conversion between different frequencies is done using the same algorithms used in the other Teranex models. This translates into seamless transitions from one format to another.
