International. Arri announced a full complement of professional-quality accessories from its PCA range, tailored specifically to Sony's PXW-FS7 camera.
These accessories will be available individually, or in multiple sets, providing unparalleled reliability and compatibility with industry-standard tools.
The ARRI adapter board for Sony PXW-FS7 is compatible with ARRI BP-8 and BP-9 bridge plates, as well as APV style tripod adapters such as the ARRI Quick Release QRP-1 board (when used with the supplied wedge adapter).
The ARRI Lens Adapter Support LAS-1 is a rugged lens adapter holder that fits a wide range of third-party lens adapters, including EF and PL mount. The LAS-1 also supports special optical adapters such as the Metabones SpeedBooster.
The ARRI Top Board for Sony PXW-FS7 is a plate with numerous threaded accessory interfaces as well as an optically built-in centering. Compatible with CCH-1 ALEXA handle, CCH-2 ALEXA M handle and the original Sony FS7 top handle, the top board incorporates two solid focus metal hooks positioned at the flat sensor level. In addition, the plate is slightly raised above the upper surface of the camera, that is, accessory screws that are longer than the thickness of the plate do not damage the camera.
The ARRI Visor support for Sony PXW-FS7 is a proven stand, just as used in current ARRI cameras. It offers the best range of adjustment and robustness for this type of viewfinder.
ARRI accessories for the Sony PXW-FS7 will be available from February 2015.
