Brazil. To be able to interconnect the broadcast cameras for the FIFA World Cup. Especially in Rio de Janeiro, Brazilian television networks asked Nemal to develop and deliver a series of adapters between the European PAL standard and the NTSC standard used in Brazil.
The Nemal design team, led by Danny Ritts in Miami, along with engineer Maximo Medina at Nemal's Sao Paulo office, worked with the engineers of the Brazilian chains to arrive at the ideal combination of performance, durability, and size.
The Nemal PAL-NTSC adapter offers an aluminum body, with the PAL connector mounted inside, with a three-meter HD/SDI 13mm (Nemal code 1820) triaxial cable, terminated with an NTSC connector.
The adapter is available either with male PAL for female NTSC or with female PAL for male NTSC.
