Venezuela. Two smartphone references will begin to be sold in Venezuela with access to digital television, which will be distributed through the company Molvilnet.
The phones are the Huawei G7300 and the Samsung GT-C3313T, references that bring a receiver that allows access to the television service on the cell phone. The company stressed that one of the advantages of these phones is that they have a lower retail price than phones of those characteristics, facilitating access to the TDA for the entire population.
The technology for signal reception incorporated in these mobile devices is known as One Seg, which allows them to access digital TV and is only found on phones that have incorporated the standard selected by each country.
Users of these phones will be able to access images in high definition. The first signals that Venezuelans will be able to access from their phones are those of the channels Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), Telesur and Vive TV.
In Venezuela, the government of that country launched the plan for the implementation of digital television since last February, when access to 13 more cities was announced and through which they propose to benefit 50% of the population that does not have a paid television service subscribed.
