International. The company Never.no developed an application based on the concept of Social TV, which will allow presenters to see in real time what is happening on social networks according to the topic they are dealing with at the time.
The Prompter V2 application facilitates a more fluid and faster interaction with the viewer, since the presenter can read, respond and comment on the opinions of the public, providing a greater participation and level of engagement with social content.
This application is based on the Interactivity Suite, which allows comments to be filtered automatically or manually, so the presenter only sees the best content. In addition, it uses a simple interface, eliminating the possibility of confusion or greater complexity for presenters when they are on the air.
With the Interactivity Suite, a channel can add user-generated content from social networks such as Twitter and Facebook into programming, and build synchronized apps that allow viewers to interact with their TVs using an iPad, computer or smartphone.
"On-air talent is at the forefront of audience interaction, and the position carries enormous potential to increase viewer engagement and influence the direction of a broadcast. This app gives people in front of the camera a more robust arsenal of tools for journalistic storytelling," said Zachary Weiner, the company's director of global marketing.
