Latin America. The cable channel dedicated to telenovelas TV Pasiones, adopted wTVision's playout automation system, called ChannelMaker, which has a set of applications that work to provide a complete architecture and thus respond to all the requirements of each television channel.
With the adoption of this system, TV Pasiones will garantize that its contents are in place before reaching their time to enter the air and will detect problems with video clips and inconsistencies before they cause damage to the broadcast.
When the new system detects errors, they are reported and their applications are automatically activated to search for the content in the premises of the network and can be automatically copied to one or more playout servers, with time to make alterations before entering the air. If the video clips are not found, the user is notified for a problem in the playlist, which must be solved manually.
The final piece of this architecture is the Ingest, a tool with several functionalities, which allows the pre-visualization of the contents, make the adjustment in the audio level and finally leaves the video clip ready to go on the air. The Ingest can be done manually or automatically and with multiple inputs and multiple sources simultaneously.
TV Pasiones is a multicultural television channel, broadcast 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, that reaches homes in the South American and North American territory.
