The WLS-TV television network, owned by ABC Chicago, announced the acquisition of 33 Fujifilm lenses for use in its Panasonic P2 HD cameras, the first purchase transaction between Fujifilm North America Corporation and WLS-TV/ABC.Of the lenses, 32 are reference ZA17X7.6BERM HD with 2X zoom with extenders and the other is a TELEPHOTO LENS ZA22X7.6BERM, which are high performance devices, designed for the production of news, as well as sporting and independent events in HDTV, maintaining high standards in the images produced by HD cameras.
The ZA22x7.6BE series has an increase of up to 22 times, a focal range of 7.6 at the open end and 167mm at the telephoto end, and its maximum aperture is from 1:1.8 in 7.6 to 120mm and from 1:2.5 to 167mm.
On the other hand, the ZA17x7.6BE series is a standard HD ENG lens with magnification of up to 17 times, focal range of 7.6 at the open end and 130 mm at the telephoto end, while its maximum aperture is from 1:1.8 in 7.6 to 102mm, and from 1:2.3 in 130mm.
