NRD Multimedia will carry out the project of the new Channel 9 of Costa Rica

NRD Multimedia, an integration company of the ADTEL group, has been awarded the turnkey project of the new Channel 9 of Costa Rica, in which the latest HD equipment from the manufacturers VSN, Sony, Miranda, Vizrt and Apple will be integrated. NRD will integrate and configure the project, also providing the necessary training and maintenance of all systems.

NRD Multimedia, an integration company of the ADTEL group, has been awarded the turnkey project of the new Channel 9 of Costa Rica, in which the latest HD equipment from the manufacturers VSN, Sony, Miranda, VizRT and Apple will be integrated.
The contract includes NRD's supply of VSNMatic automation VSN solutions, two 32TB capacity VSNStorage production storage servers, two VSNNetplayer multi-format production servers, the VSNSharer content manager and the H264 VSNArchive file with two 32TB storages, and four VSNAutorec automatable HD ingests.

NRD will also supply Sony production equipment such as the MVS-6000 production HD mixer, four HD cameras in HXC-100 set configuration, two BRC-H700 robotic cameras, eight ENG XDCAM PMW-320K cameras, and four NXCAM HXR-NX5 light cameras, in addition to five Vegas Pro 10 non-linear editions.

For this project Miranda will provide an NV-8144 HD 72×90 matrix expandable to 144×144, the glue cards of the Densité series, the NV5100 continuity mixer and the Miranda Vertigo graphic solution. Regarding VizRT, NRD will integrate its graphical solution for live production, and will also supply seven Apple Final Cut editions on macPro platform.

NRD will provide a turnkey integration project with all the necessary hardware and software, integrating and configuring the solution, also providing the necessary training and maintenance of all systems.
