Slovenia. Radiotelevizija Slovenija (RTV), the public radio and television transmission service, will be the first media in the European country to implement the NOA Record 4 system for a migration of analog to digital audio quickly, accurately and cost-effectively, in addition to expanding its NOA CD Lector entry system, from four to eight channels, doubling performance and transmission capacity.
"Having evaluated other solutions in Europe, we are convinced that the NOA system we use on a daily basis is the best for this job," said Martin Zvelc, technical advisor at RTV. "For us, the mediARC system is essential to help us manage our audio file, in addition to having the approval of our board of directors for the low cost of maintenance."
The NOA Record system includes software, the N6071 workstation and N6000A hardware , with high-quality A/D converters and communication modules. RTV will also feature the N6035A tape optical analysis module, which uses transparency analysis to identify scratches, speed identification and data loss measurement on the magnetic layers of analog tapes.
