After evaluating the results obtained in the transmission tests, the Bolivian government decided to opt for the Japanese-Brazilian standard of digital terrestrial television.
This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of this country, David Choquehuanca, who also indicated that next year the first tests of the new television system will be carried out on the state channel Bolivia TV, and that a year later the full performance of the system is expected.
Like other Latin American countries that have adopted the same standard, Bolivia will count on Japan's cooperation in technology transfer and technical training.
