I-MOVIX announced that at NAB 2010 it will present the first fruits of its alliance with Vision Research for the development of ultra-slow-motion solutions for television applications.
By combining the recording system of the IMovix SprintCam platform with the technology of the Phantom camera of Vision Research, a system called SprintCam Vvs HD has been generated that operates with frame rates of between 25 and 2700cps in 1080i50 or between 25 and 5800cps in 720p60, all this with instant playback capability with real HD quality.
SprintCam Vvs HD is a portable solution with integrated playback , which allows the operator to continue recording while delivering material. Additionally, it offers the possibility of programming "ramps" or progressive speed changes, and absolutely all its functions can be invoked using the viewfinder. The partners of this project will demonstrate this product at NAB, and are expected to announce when it will be available.
