Riedel will present a wide range of new fiber and intercom products during NAB, as well as a new Artist VCP-1004 virtual panel, mediorNet MADI and RockNet cards, and the Framestore software-based solution for MediorNet.
The new Artist VCP-1004 virtual panel allows you to use a generic computer as an intercom control panel in combination with any Artist system. These computers can be integrated via Ethernet with or without cable with the array. Communication between the array and the virtual panel is done using a VoIP-108 G2 card.
The virtual control panel comes with four talk-keys and a Shift key that doubles the number of available keys. It provides the same signage used in the Artist 1000 panels and the user can control it with the computer keyboard and mouse. The audio input and output of the panel is implemented with the audio card installed in the computer.
