Band Pro Film introduced a new brand of high-performance lenses designed to deliver the highest optical performance in 4K digital shooting. The 'Mystery Prime' lenses, with an aperture of F1.4, were demonstrated with three different lengths on an F35 camera at the 'One World on HD' event.
'Mystery Prime' features unified focal length scales and the front of the lens has a 95mm filter thread that allows for fast lens swapping. It also offers an integrated threading ring on the back of the PL mount.
The series will be offered from June 2010 in 16mm, 18mm, 21mm, 25mm, 35mm, 40mm, 50mm, 65mm, 75mm and 100mm optics. Other focal lengths will be on the market in a second phase until a total of 15 different optics are completed.
