The company refurbished the new Audiovisual and Multimedia Communication Center of the Universidad Iberoamericana de México, located in Tijuana. The studio and post-production facilities will serve as a teaching and training tool for film and television students, and will support all of their university work.
Systems incorporated at the University by TV Magic include six Canon SD cameras, a Broadcast Pix switcher , four Apple workstations, lighting from ARRI and Kino Flo, VTR from Sony and JVC, and an audio mixer from Yamaha.
"Our goal is to foster a space in which students can create multimedia projects using the latest tools and equipment, and TV Magic's experience helped us make this idea a reality," said Marta Márquez, manager of the University's Department of Communication. "The company's training and support for new staff members has been instrumental in providing students with an education that prepares them for the professional market," he added.
