The Japanese manufacturer of optical accessories for television, digital cinema and industrial applications Fujinon introduced the XA50X9.5B ESM-D HD telephoto lens specially designed for ENG (Electronic News Gathering) cameras using expansion systems.
Also offered as a good option for rental companies, the lens is useful in small scenarios and applications that do not require extremely high zoom, such as basketball courts and certain camera positions in covering other small area sports, as well as houses of worship and corporate events.
The XA50X9.5B ESM-D offers 50X approximation and focal length from 9.5 to 475mm. Includes a 2X remote control extender. The maximum relative aperture is 1.7 between 9.5 and 311mm, and only 2.6 to 475mm. The minimum distance from the object is 9.8 feet (approx. 3 meters) from the front of the lens.
