16x9 Inc. introduces the Bebob Box-FS, the practical mounting system for adding a FireStore FS-4 or FS-100 to Panasonic's HVX-200 and other HDV/DV VCR.
Previously, FireStore's portable HD recorders had to be fitted directly to the cameras or hooked to the cameraman's strap. Bebob's new system provides a clever way to adjust the FireStore just below the camera, keeping it within reach for manual or tripod use. The box fits securely, without obstructions or disturbing the operation of the camera.
The Bebob Box-FS fits between the camera base and the tripod plate, holding and protecting the HD recorder. Access is quick and easy through quick removal insurance. The box's sliding drawer is contoured to snap into place with the operation panel pointing upwards. When pressed backwards, the FireStore automatically engages in position. Reading the FireStore screen is simply a matter of unhooking and removing the drawer.
