The current transition of the TV industry to HDTV is creating a demand for Versatile and inexpensive means of capturing high video definition in a wide variety of environments. These include coverage of traffic or weather conditions, places of worship, legislative precincts and even security monitoring or cameras of the internet. In response to this growing demand, Canon USA launched the BU-40H system for remote control of high cameras definition.
The successor to the system robotic camera positioning NU-700N, the new BU-40H consists of a Canon HD camera equipped with three CCDs 1/3 inch (1,670,000 pixels) with an HD zoom lens Genuine, from Canon, with a 20X optical zoom radius (4.5 - 90mm).
